DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY IF YOU HAVE COVID 19 SYMPTOMS
Due to the Covid 19 virus we have implimented a series of measures to protect our team and patients. As per government guidance, we have switched to telephone triage and online consultations.
This means that patients wishing to see a GP will be added to a same day call back list, GPs will then use their clinical discretion.
We will not be offering pre-bookable appointments for the GPs. We will continue to offer nursing and HCA pre-bookable appointments but these will still go through telephone triage on the day of appointment.
Patients who need to be seen in person will be seen. Those who can be managed safely by phone, will be.
There will be telephone triage appointments available (GP/Nurse/HCA), for any medical/medication queries or to order prescriptions.
If you attend our surgery for an appointment you will need to adhere to the distancing rules in force at any particular time and you will need to bring a face covering with you. We ask that you do not bring any other members of your family to your appointment unless absolutely necessary.
When you arrive for your appointment you will need to use the call system on the outside door at the rear of the building .The call system will come through on the phone line to be picked up by reception.
Please do not arrive early for your appointment as you will not be allowed to enter the building until 5 minutes before your appointment time.
You may also see some changes over reception and waiting room areas, some areas may be closed off and magazines will be cleared. Chairs may be further apart or you made need to go to different areas for different things.
Rest assured that any measures put in to place are done to protect our patients and staff and reduce the risk of infection.
As you can imagine this is a challenging time for the NHS, as it is for the public.
Guidance and information changes daily and all of our plans are subject to change so please do keep an eye on the website where will try to keep you updated. Thank you for your support.
